Postman Law Is Proud to Sponsor the 9Cares Colorado Shares Spring Food Drive
At Postman Law, giving back to the Denver community isn’t something we do occasionally — it’s part of who we are. This spring, we’re putting that commitment into action as a proud sponsor of the 9Cares Colorado Shares Spring Food Drive, benefitting Food Bank of the Rockies and four other food banks serving communities across Colorado.
The drive runs now through June 15, 2026. You can donate online, give directly to a food bank of your choice, or round up at any participating King Soopers location near you. Every dollar donated through 9Cares Colorado Shares helps provide three nourishing meals for Colorado families in need.
What Is 9Cares Colorado Shares?
9Cares Colorado Shares is the region’s largest food drive, a partnership between 9NEWS Denver and Colorado’s top food banks that has been fighting hunger across the state for decades. Each year, the program runs two drives — one in the spring and one in the fall — raising critical funds for Colorado families facing food insecurity.
Right now, one in eight Coloradans struggles with hunger. During the summer months, when children lose access to school breakfast and lunch programs, the need becomes even more urgent. The 9Cares Colorado Shares Spring Drive supports five Colorado food banks:
- Care and Share Food Bank — serving 289 partner agencies across 29 counties in southern Colorado
- Community Food Share — fighting hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties
- Food Bank for Larimer County — providing food to all in need in Larimer County
- Food Bank of the Rockies — reaching more than 800 hunger relief programs across the Denver Metro and northern Colorado
- Weld Food Bank — leading the fight against hunger in Weld County

Watch: Postman Law Partner Sean McCrary on Colorado & Company
As part of our 9Cares sponsorship, Postman Law Partner Sean McCrary sat down with the Colorado & Company team on 9NEWS to talk about our commitment to the Denver community, why food insecurity matters to us, and what Postman Law stands for.
Watch the full Colorado & Company segment here.
Sean has lived in Denver for over 20 years and has built both his career and his community roots here. In the interview, he shares why Postman Law chose to sponsor 9Cares, what makes our approach to personal injury law different, and how our Denver team shows up for clients every single day.
Why Postman Law Supports 9Cares Colorado Shares
As a personal injury law firm, we work with people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We see firsthand how quickly a family’s stability can be disrupted — by an accident, an injury, a sudden loss. Food insecurity is another version of that instability, and it affects hundreds of thousands of Colorado families every year.
We believe that if you’re going to serve a community professionally, you need to support it personally. That’s why Postman Law is donating $10,000 to Food Bank of the Rockies this year — $5,000 for the Spring Drive and $5,000 for the Fall Drive.
Our Commitment to Colorado Goes Beyond the Courtroom
The 9Cares sponsorship is one part of a broader commitment to the communities we serve in Denver and across Colorado.
Project Sanctuary — We proudly support Project Sanctuary, a Colorado-based nonprofit that provides therapeutic retreats and year-round support for military families. Veteran families face unique challenges, and we’re honored to stand behind an organization that meets them with real resources.
99.5 Mountain Radiothon — Last November, Postman Law partnered with 99.5 Mountain on a Radiothon that raised nearly $70,000 for the local community. The response from Denver was incredible and a reminder of what this city is made of.
Denver’s Chinese American Community — We maintain active connections with Denver’s Chinese American community and local organizations working to meet real needs across the city.
