Entry Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

Be enrolled as an undergraduate student in a U.S. college or university located in Illinois, Minnesota, or Ohio
Be pursuing a degree in legal studies, pre-law, political science, or a related field
Hold a minimum 3.3 GPA
Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident authorized to work
Be 18 years of age or older

All applications must be submitted by September 28th, 2025. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.

Application Guidelines

Submit an original essay of 500–750 words reflecting your values, goals, or personal experiences.

Essay must be uploaded in .pdf, .doc, or .docx format.

As dedicated fans of our hometown teams – in Chicago, the Twin Cities, and Cincinnati – we’re tying the scholarship amount to each team’s home game success. The base scholarship award starts at $1,000 and increases by $100 for every home game victory throughout the season.

Our goal is to ease the financial burden for driven students committed to using the law as a force for good.
